Cesare Cremonini

Cesare Cremonini is an Italian singer-songwriter from Bologna who first found fame as the frontman of Lùnapop, a band he led in his late teens. Their 1999 debut album «…Squérez?» became a massive hit in Italy, driven by the breakout single «50 special», and turned Cremonini into one of the country's most recognizable young pop voices almost overnight. When Lùnapop disbanded in 2002, he moved into a solo career while still very young, gradually reshaping his sound away from teen-pop toward a more mature, melodic songwriting style rooted in Italian pop and rock traditions.

Over the following two decades Cremonini built a body of work marked by lush, radio-friendly arrangements, introspective lyrics, and a knack for widescreen, anthemic choruses, drawing comparisons to classic Italian cantautori while keeping one foot in contemporary pop-rock.
