Cem Adrian

Cem Adrian, born Cem Filiz on 30 November 1980 in Edirne, Turkey, is one of the most distinctive voices in Turkish alternative pop and rock. He is renowned for a vocal range spanning several octaves, which he has used across genres from acoustic ballads to electronic and rock arrangements. His stage surname, Adrian, references Hadrianoupolis, the ancient name of his native Edirne.

Adrian's path into music was shaped by an early connection to pianist Fazıl Say, and he studied at Bilkent University before building a career centered on emotionally direct, often socially conscious songwriting.
