About the artist
Cecilia Krull is a Spanish singer-songwriter from Madrid whose name became internationally recognized through «My Life Is Going On», the theme song of the Spanish heist drama series «La Casa de Papel» (Money Heist). Written and recorded by Krull in 2017 and composed together with Manel Santisteban, the melancholic piano-driven ballad became a global phenomenon, charting in multiple countries and introducing her voice to an audience far beyond Spain.
Krull grew up in a musical household — her father was a pianist and her grandfather played the accordion — which shaped her early relationship with songwriting and performance. Her style draws on pop, electronic textures and R&B-inflected vocals, occasionally leaning into rock energy, giving her catalogue a versatile, cinematic quality well suited to soundtrack and remix work.
Beyond the original ballad, «My Life Is Going On» has taken on a second life through numerous official remixes, including versions by Alok, JetLag Music, HOT-Q & WADD, as well as the Mathix remix of «La Casa de Papel», reflecting how deeply the song embedded itself in club and dance scenes worldwide. Krull continues to release original material exploring introspective, emotionally driven pop songwriting.
