About the artist
Cascada are a German Eurodance and electro-pop project formed in Bonn in 2004, built around lead vocalist Natalie Horler and producers DJ Manian and DJ Yanou. The group initially performed as Cascade before a naming conflict with the act Kaskade led them to adopt their current name.
Cascada became one of the defining acts of mid-2000s Eurodance-pop crossover, scoring a global smash with «Everytime We Touch», which reached number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and went platinum in multiple countries. They followed it with a string of dance-pop hits including «Evacuate the Dancefloor», «Bad Boy» and a club-ready cover of «What Hurts the Most», each pairing Horler's bright, powerful vocals with the producers' high-energy trance and Eurodance instrumentation.
Beyond the Cascada name, the trio also released material under aliases such as Siria, Diamond and Akira, reflecting the prolific dance-scene work ethic behind the project. Decades after their breakthrough, Cascada remain a fixture of Eurodance nostalgia and continue performing and releasing new material, with their catalogue still a staple of dance-pop playlists worldwide.
