Carl Finch is an American musician best known as the founder, accordionist and bandleader of Brave Combo, the Denton, Texas ensemble that reimagined polka, cumbia and other global dance musics through a rock and world-music lens. Since founding the group in the late 1970s, Finch has built a decades-long career centered on genre-blurring reinterpretations rather than pure novelty, earning Brave Combo two Grammy Awards for Best Polka Album.
