Carl Brave, real name Carlo Luigi Coraggio, is an Italian singer, rapper and producer born in Rome. Before turning fully to music he pursued competitive basketball for over a decade, an experience that shaped his understated, streetwise persona. He came up through Rome's underground rap scene in his teens, forming a crew and later studying production at the SAE Institute, where he refined the melodic, laid-back sound that would define his solo work.

His style blends rap cadences with pop melody and Roman dialect, creating an intimate, conversational tone distinct from more aggressive strands of Italian trap. Tracks like «Fotografia», «Notti Brave» and «Vita» showcase his signature mix of nostalgic storytelling and warm, minimal production, often built around simple piano or guitar figures layered with trap-influenced beats.

Brave is closely associated with the Roman collective Guasconi and gained wider recognition through his partnership with fellow Roman artist Franco126, with whom he released the acclaimed «Polaroid» project before both pursued solo careers.
