Callalily

Callalily is a Filipino pop-rock band formed in Manila in 2006, fronted by vocalist Kean Cipriano. Emerging during a fertile period for OPM (original Pilipino music) alternative acts, the band quickly became known for melodic, radio-friendly rock songs built around soaring choruses and accessible, emotionally direct lyrics, earning them a place among the country's most consistently played bands on mainstream radio.

Their biggest and most enduring hit, «Magbalik», became something of a modern OPM standard, covered widely and beloved for its anthemic, romantic sensibility; it exemplifies the band's core sound, clean guitar-driven rock arrangements paired with big, singable hooks. Other tracks such as «Stars», «Pansamantala» and «Ex» reinforced their identity as purveyors of accessible, emotionally resonant alternative pop-rock rather than harder-edged or experimental material.

Over the years the band's lineup has evolved, with members including Aaron Ricafrente, Lemuel Belaro and Ken Tiongson joining Cipriano, while earlier members such as Tatsi Jamnague and Alden Acosta were part of the group's formative years. Callalily remains a fixture of the mid-2000s to 2010s Philippine rock scene, valued for its role in shaping a generation's radio-pop-rock sound.
