C. Tangana

C. Tangana, born Antón Álvarez Alfaro in Madrid, is a Spanish rapper, singer and producer widely regarded as one of the key figures who brought trap and urban music into the mainstream of Spanish-language pop. He began his career under the alias Crema as a member of the collective Agorazein before adopting the C. Tangana moniker, releasing his self-titled debut in 2011 and steadily building influence over the following decade as both a performer and hit songwriter for other artists.

His sound blends trap, reggaeton, flamenco and classic Spanish pop and rock references, an eclectic approach that culminated in the critically acclaimed album El Madrileño, which fused urban production with boleros, rumba and collaborations spanning generations and countries. Tracks such as Llorando en la Limo and Tú Me Dejaste de Querer showcase his knack for blending vulnerable, melodic songwriting with contemporary rhythms.
