Busy Signal

Busy Signal, born Glendale Gordon, is a Jamaican dancehall and reggae artist from Clarendon, Jamaica. He rose to prominence in the 2000s as part of the Alliance, a collective of artists mentored by Bounty Killer that also included Vybz Kartel and Mavado, helping shape the sound of a new generation of dancehall.

Known for his versatile, gravelly delivery and ability to move between hardcore dancehall, roots reggae and more melodic, radio-friendly material, Busy Signal has built a catalog that spans gritty street anthems and romantic, soulful tracks. His music often incorporates classic reggae and soul influences alongside contemporary dancehall production, giving him crossover appeal beyond the core dancehall audience.
