Burhan G

Burhan G, born Burhan Genç Koç, is a Danish pop singer, songwriter, and producer of Turkish descent, raised in Brøndby Strand near Copenhagen. He got his start in music through the band Outlandish, joining them as a backing vocalist on tour in 1999 after they mentored him. He later launched a solo career in English with the album «Playground» in 2004, though it was his shift to Danish-language pop that brought him lasting success.

His breakthrough came in 2010 with the single «Mest Ondt», followed by his self-titled Danish-language album «Burhan G» later that year, which established him as one of Denmark's leading pop voices. His sound blends smooth, radio-friendly pop with R&B and soul influences, built around an emotive vocal style and polished, hook-driven production.

Since then, Burhan G has released several more Danish-language albums, including «Pas På Pigerne», which reached number four on the Danish charts. His catalogue includes tracks like «Tinka», «Tættere På Himlen», «Lucy», and «Karma», cementing his status as a mainstay of modern Danish pop and one of the country's most recognizable vocalists.
