bülow, born Megan Bülow in Germany in 1999, is a pop singer-songwriter who spent her childhood moving between countries — including time busking in England as a child and later attending high school in the Netherlands — before settling in Texas as a teenager, an upbringing that fed directly into the themes of dislocation and adolescence in her music.

She emerged with the «Damaged» EPs (Vol. 1 and Vol. 2), blending airy pop production with electronic and hip-hop-inflected touches and a candid, conversational songwriting voice. Her breakout song «Not a Love Song», which flips typical gender roles in a relationship narrative, became a defining early single and helped her win Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the JUNO Awards, alongside a nomination for Single of the Year.
