Bridgit Mendler

Bridgit Mendler is an American singer-songwriter and actress from Washington, D.C., who first built a following as a Disney Channel star, most notably playing Teddy Duncan on Good Luck Charlie. She parlayed that visibility into a music career, releasing her debut album Hello My Name Is… in 2012, a pop record that charted on the US Billboard 200 and established her as part of the wave of Disney-affiliated artists moving into mainstream pop.

After stepping back from acting following Good Luck Charlie’s conclusion, Mendler returned to music in 2016 with a noticeably more mature, electronic- and R&B-tinged sound, beginning with the single «Atlantis» featuring Kaiydo. Subsequent releases such as the Nemesis EP and collaborations like «Can’t Bring This Down» with Pell and «Diving» with RKCB showed her exploring moodier, more experimental pop textures than her Disney-era work, aligning her with a broader shift among former teen stars toward artistic reinvention.
