Bobby Hebb

Bobby Hebb was an American singer, songwriter, and musician from Nashville, Tennessee, best remembered for the 1966 pop-soul classic «Sunny». Raised in a musical family, he began performing as a child and later worked as a session and touring musician, including a stint playing with country star Roy Acuff, before establishing himself as a solo artist. «Sunny» became an international hit and has since been covered by hundreds of artists across pop, jazz, soul, and rock, cementing Hebb's place in American songbook history.

Musically, Hebb blended smooth soul vocals with pop songwriting sensibility, giving his work crossover appeal on both R&B and pop charts in the 1960s.
