BLANCO

BLANCO, born Riccardo Fabbriconi on February 10, 2003, in Brescia, Italy, and raised in Calvagese della Riviera, is an Italian singer-songwriter who emerged as one of the defining voices of Italy’s modern melodic rap and pop scene. He began writing songs almost by chance in 2017 and initially released tracks over YouTube type beats under the alias BlancoFyrex, later moving to SoundCloud, where he dropped his first EP, QUARANTINE PARANOID, in June 2020.

Discovered by Eclectic Music, he signed with Island Records/Universal Music Italia and released his official debut single «Belladonna» in June 2020, followed a month later by «Notti In Bianco», which brought him wider public recognition. Much of his early sound was shaped by producer Michelangelo, his longtime collaborator since late 2019, whose instrumentals underpin both tracks and helped define BLANCO’s melancholic, melodic style.

BLANCO’s music blends emotional, diaristic lyrics with hooky pop-rap production, a combination that quickly made him one of Italy’s most streamed young artists. Songs like «Paraocchi», «Afrodite», and «Blu Celeste» further cemented his place at the center of Italy’s new generation of pop and rap, known for pairing raw vulnerability with radio-ready melodies.
