Biig Piig is the stage name of Jess Smyth, an artist who grew up moving between Ireland, Spain and London, a background that shows in her fluid switching between English and Spanish lyrics. Her sound blends bedroom-pop intimacy with elements of R&B, trip-hop and rap-adjacent flow, giving her music a laid-back, late-night quality built around conversational, diaristic songwriting. Early tracks like «Perdida» and «Vice City» established this blend of hazy production and confessional lyricism.

She is also part of NiNE8 Collective, a London-based group of young artists spanning rap, R&B and production, which shaped her early collaborative approach to making music.
