Big Mountain

Big Mountain is a reggae band formed in San Diego, California, in the late 1980s, best known for their breakthrough cover of Peter Frampton's «Baby, I Love Your Way», which became an international hit in 1994 after appearing on the soundtrack of the film Reality Bites. Fronted by lead vocalist Quino, the group blended traditional roots reggae with pop and R&B sensibilities, giving their sound a smooth, radio-friendly warmth that helped bring reggae to mainstream American audiences in the mid-1990s.

Beyond their signature hit, Big Mountain built a catalog of original material and further covers that leaned into romantic, feel-good themes, exemplified by songs like «Love Is The Only Way» and «Sweet Sensual Love».
