BICEP

Bicep are an electronic music duo from Belfast, Northern Ireland, formed by childhood friends Andy Ferguson and Matt McBriar. They rose to prominence through their blog «Feel My Bicep», dedicated to rare and forgotten dance tracks spanning Italo disco, Chicago house and Detroit techno, before becoming DJs and producers themselves around 2009.

Their sound draws heavily on that record-collector sensibility, fusing nostalgic house and techno textures with a modern, melodic and often euphoric production style. This came together fully on their self-titled 2017 debut album, which earned widespread critical acclaim and established them as one of the leading acts in contemporary British electronic music, known for tracks like «Glue» and «Apricots».

Bicep have continued to build on that foundation with further albums and remixes, balancing dancefloor-driven productions with more atmospheric, emotionally resonant material, and they remain closely associated with the wave of UK electronic acts drawing on house and techno history for modern audiences.
