BETWEEN FRIENDS is an American indie pop duo formed by siblings Savannah and Brandon Hudson. The pair originally performed under the name Heirs before reworking their sound and rebranding in 2017 with the single «Suburban Wonderland», trading a more guitar-driven, rock-leaning approach for a synth-soaked, vividly colorful pop style. Their music quickly became known for its lo-fi warmth, playful melodies, and emotionally direct lyrics about young love, heartbreak, and friendship.

Brandon handles guitar, vocals, and production, giving the duo's catalog a distinctly homemade, bedroom-pop texture even as their sound has grown more polished over time, while Savannah's vocals anchor the emotional core of songs like «affection» and «iloveyou». Their early EP we just need some time together helped establish the fully electro-pop direction that would define their subsequent releases.
