Bellakath

Bellakath, born Katherinne Huerta in Mexico in 1997, is a Mexican singer, actress, and influencer who rose to prominence as one of the leading voices of the neoperreo and reggaeton scene emerging from Mexico City in the early 2020s. She first gained public attention through the Mexican television show «Enamorándonos» in 2019 before shifting toward music, releasing her debut EP «911» in 2021.

Her breakthrough came through collaborations within the Mexican urban and DJ circuit, most notably «Lluvia de Micheladas» with Smi-Lee, Profeta Yao Yao, and Riko Mix, which became one of her signature hits and helped define her sound: playful, sexually explicit lyrics over minimal, bass-heavy reggaeton and perreo beats. She further cemented her chart presence with «Gatita», released in October 2022, which reached the top of Mexican urban charts.

Bellakath's music sits at the intersection of reggaeton, Latin trap, and the irreverent, DIY aesthetic of the neoperreo movement, drawing comparisons to other unapologetically explicit Latin urban artists. Her 2023 album «Kittyponeo» consolidated her identity as a leading figure of this new generation of Mexican urban pop, with tracks like «Reggaeton Champagne» and «Flow Calle» showcasing her catchy, hook-driven style.
