Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga

Banda MS, formally La Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizárraga, is a Mexican regional Mexican band formed in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, in 2003. The «MS» in its name stands for Mazatlán and Sinaloa, reflecting the group's deep roots in the banda sinaloense tradition, built around brass and percussion rather than guitars.

Under the direction of Sergio Lizárraga, the band grew from a regional touring act into one of the most commercially successful banda groups in the Spanish-speaking world, known for lush, romantic ballads reworked in the banda format alongside more upbeat corridos and cumbias. Hits such as «Mi Razón de Ser», «El Color de Tus Ojos», «Háblame de Ti» and «Qué Maldición» showcase their signature blend of sweeping brass arrangements with emotionally direct songwriting, often centered on love and heartbreak.
