Banda Los Recoditos

Banda Los Recoditos is a Mexican banda sinaloense ensemble from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, one of the genre's most commercially durable acts since emerging from a family-rooted brass tradition. The group's sound sits at the core of regional mexicano: layered tubas, clarinets and trombones driving danceable corridos, cumbias and romantic banda ballads, later blending in elements closer to mainstream pop-regional crossover.

The band built its national profile through a run of radio hits that mixed heartbreak anthems with the rowdier, party-leaning "banda" style typical of Sinaloa acts, songs like «Mi Último Deseo» and «Ando Bien Pedo» becoming staples of Mexican regional playlists. Its catalog spans both tender declarations of love and unapologetic drinking-and-heartbreak numbers, a duality that has defined much of the genre.

As one of the longer-running Sinaloan banda groups, Los Recoditos helped keep the tuba-driven big-band format relevant through changing tastes in Mexican popular music, influencing and touring alongside other major banda and norteño acts across Mexico and the U.S. Latino market.
