Bahh Tee

Bahh Tee, born Bakhtiyar Aliyev in Moscow, is a Russian rapper and singer of Azerbaijani descent. He rose to fame in the early 2010s as one of the first Russian artists to build a career largely through social media and YouTube, where his tracks racked up tens of millions of views at a time when such numbers were still rare for domestic acts.

His sound blends melodic Russian-language rap with pop hooks, favoring emotional, relationship-driven lyrics over aggressive street rap, which helped him cross over to a broad mainstream audience rather than staying within a niche hip-hop scene. Songs such as «10 лет спустя», «Сумерки» and «Скандалистка» became staples of Russian pop-rap radio during his commercial peak.

Beyond performing, Bahh Tee became an influential figure behind the scenes: in 2017 he co-founded the label Zhara Music together with Emin Agalarov, which later helped launch the duo HammAli & Navai. In 2021 the label was rebranded as Atlantic Records Russia, becoming part of Warner Music Group, cementing his role as both artist and industry executive.
