Bahari

Bahari is a Los Angeles-based dark-pop duo formed by singer/bassist Natalia Panzarella and singer/keyboardist Ruby Carr. The project's name means «ocean» in a language from Ruby's African heritage, and the duo built their sound around lush, layered vocal harmonies set against moody electronic production.

After years working within the traditional pop machine, Bahari relaunched as an independent act in 2018 with «Fucked Up», the first single of a reinvented, darker and more autonomous sound. They followed it with «Savage», which became their breakout track and helped define their identity as a bold, defiant pop-electronic act, and later «Chasers», which premiered via Billboard. Their collaboration with ILLENIUM on «Crashing» in early 2019 introduced them to the dance-music audience, while «:( (sad face)» became one of their most streamed songs on YouTube.

Bahari's music sits at the intersection of alternative pop, electronic and dance genres, marked by emotionally raw lyrics and cinematic atmosphere. Having reclaimed creative independence, the duo has continued working toward a full debut project while releasing steady singles that showcase their evolving, self-directed sound.
