BAEKHYUN

Byun Baek-hyun, known as BAEKHYUN, is a South Korean singer who debuted in 2012 as a member of the K-pop group EXO, quickly becoming one of its central vocalists. He later debuted in EXO's sub-unit EXO-CBX in 2016 and joined SM Entertainment's multinational supergroup SuperM in 2019, extending his reach well beyond the main group.

Alongside group activities, BAEKHYUN built a significant solo career marked by a smooth, R&B-inflected vocal style. His duet «Dream» with Suzy topped Korean charts and won major awards, and he has also collaborated with artists like Soyou, Loco and K.Will. His solo discography includes the EP «City Lights» (2019) and the mini-album «Delight» (2020), led by the single «Candy». In 2021 he released his debut Japanese material and his Korean album «Bambi», which became one of his best-selling solo releases.

Known for a clear, agile voice suited to both K-pop's dance-pop energy and softer R&B ballads, BAEKHYUN stands as one of the most commercially successful solo artists to emerge from a K-pop group in the 2020s, with songs like «두근거려 (Beautiful)», «UN Village» and «Pineapple Slice» showing the range of his solo work.
