B. Praak

B Praak, born Pratik Bachan, is an Indian singer, composer and music producer who has become one of the most prominent voices in contemporary Punjabi and Bollywood music. He began his career behind the scenes as a music director and composer before stepping into the spotlight as a vocalist, building a long-running creative partnership with lyricist Jaani that has shaped much of modern Punjabi pop.

His breakthrough as a singer came with the Punjabi track «Mann Bharrya», whose raw, emotionally charged delivery struck a chord with listeners and set the template for the soulful, semi-classical style he is now known for. He followed this with the patriotic anthem «Teri Mitti», featured in the war film Kesari, which extended his reach far beyond Punjabi audiences into mainstream Hindi cinema.

B Praak's voice is distinguished by its gritty, husky timbre and a strong grounding in Indian classical inflections, which he blends with contemporary pop and R&B production.
