Ayesha Erotica is a transgender singer, songwriter, and producer based in Los Angeles, born in 1996, known for a hyper-stylized electronic pop sound paired with provocative, tongue-in-cheek lyrics. She began releasing music under various aliases as early as 2012 before settling on the Ayesha Erotica name in 2015, releasing a prolific string of albums, EPs, and mixtapes during an intense early period between 2015 and 2018.

Her sound blends bubblegum bass, hyperpop-adjacent electronic production, and unapologetically explicit, camp-infused songwriting, drawing on internet culture and a DIY aesthetic that predates much of the hyperpop movement she is often retroactively associated with. Tracks like «Emo Boy», «Yummy», and «Literal Legend» found renewed life years after their original release when they became viral hits on TikTok, introducing her music to a new generation of listeners.

After a five-year hiatus beginning in late 2018, Ayesha Erotica announced her return in 2023, resuming an artistic project defined by shameless self-invention, gender-fluid performance, and a defiantly maximalist take on pop songcraft.
