Asher Angel

Asher Angel is an American actor and singer, born Asher Dov Angel. He began acting as a child, appearing in the 2008 film Jolene alongside Jessica Chastain, and rose to wider recognition playing Jonah Beck on the Disney Channel series Andi Mack starting in 2017. In 2019 he stepped into a major film role as Billy Batson in the DC Extended Universe superhero movie Shazam!, a part he later reprised in the sequel.

Alongside acting, Angel pursued music, signing to HITCO and leaning into a pop sound with elements of R&B. His debut single, «One Thought Away», featured Wiz Khalifa and introduced him as a recording artist beyond his screen work. He followed it with songs such as «Chemistry» and «Getaway», building a catalog that blends radio-friendly pop with softer, melodic textures.
