Ariel Camacho Y Los Plebes Del Rancho

Ariel Camacho y Los Plebes del Rancho were a Mexican regional group that became one of the most influential acts in the corridos and norteño scene of the 2010s. Fronted by singer, guitarist and songwriter Ariel Camacho, the group was known for a raw, distinctive sound built around the requinto guitar and Camacho's deep, expressive voice, which brought a sense of authenticity to stories rooted in rural life and the realities of northern Mexico.

The group's music blended traditional norteño instrumentation with the modern corrido tumbado sensibility that would later become hugely popular, addressing themes of loyalty, courage and the social landscape of the border regions. Songs like «Te Metiste», «El Karma» and «El Rey de Corazones» showcased Camacho's storytelling ability and his group's tight, guitar-driven arrangements, which set a template later followed by many regional Mexican artists.

Ariel Camacho died in a car accident in 2015 at a young age, cutting short a career that was still ascending, but his influence on the genre proved lasting — Los Plebes del Rancho continued on, and Camacho is widely regarded as one of the key figures who shaped the modern sound of corridos.
