Anthony Rapp

Anthony Rapp, born October 26, 1971, is an American actor and singer best known for originating the role of Mark Cohen in the original Broadway cast of «Rent», Jonathan Larson's landmark rock musical, in which he also sang on the celebrated original cast recording. His warm, expressive tenor and grounded stage presence helped define the show's blend of rock energy and musical-theater storytelling for a generation of fans.
