Anthony Ramos

Anthony Ramos is an American singer, songwriter and actor from Bushwick, Brooklyn, of Puerto Rican descent, who first gained wide recognition through musical theatre before building a solo recording career. He originated the roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton in the original Broadway cast of Hamilton, appearing on songs like «Ten Duel Commandments», «Blow Us All Away», «Schuyler Defeated» and «The Story of Tonight (Reprise)», work that established him as a distinctive voice within a landmark hip-hop-infused musical.
