Annalisa

Annalisa Scarrone, known mononymously as Annalisa, is an Italian singer-songwriter from Carcare, near Savona, who grew up immersed in music through her parents' vinyl collection and began studying classical guitar and flute as a young child before adding voice and piano. She first released music in 2006 as part of the acid-jazz duo Elaphe Guttata, but gained wide public recognition in 2011 after finishing runner-up on the talent show Amici and winning its Critics' Award.

Since her solo debut with Nali in 2011, Annalisa has become a fixture of Italian pop, blending polished, hook-forward songwriting with electronic textures and a distinctive, expressive vocal delivery. She is a regular presence at the Sanremo Music Festival, having competed multiple times with songs like «Non so ballare», «Scintille», and «Una Finestra Tra Le Stelle», which anticipated studio albums including Non so ballare and Splende.

Her later work, including hits like «Bellissima», «Sinceramente», and «Mon Amour», leaned further into club-ready electronic pop while retaining her songwriting sensibility, cementing her as one of contemporary Italian pop's most consistent and evolving voices.
