Angèle Van Laeken, known simply as Angèle, is a Belgian singer, songwriter, and pianist born in 1995 in Uccle, near Brussels. Coming from an artistic family — her father is singer Marka and her brother is rapper Roméo Elvis — she trained on piano from a young age before building an audience through covers and humorous videos shared on Instagram and SoundCloud, which led to her breakthrough as a solo artist in the French-speaking pop scene.
