Amr Diab - عمرو دياب

Amr Diab is an Egyptian singer and composer widely credited with modernizing Arabic pop music. Born in Port Said, Egypt, he rose to prominence in the 1980s and went on to become one of the best-selling and most influential artists in the Arab world, often called the pioneer of the Mediterranean sound for his fusion of traditional Egyptian and Arabic melodies with Western pop, dance and electronic production.

His career-defining hits, including «Nour El Ain», «Tamally Maak» and «Amarain», helped popularize a glossy, synth-driven update of Arabic music that became a template for a generation of pop artists across the region.
