Alle Farben

Alle Farben is the stage name of Frans Zimmer, a German DJ and producer born in 1985 and raised in Berlin's Kreuzberg district. His alias, meaning «All Colours» in German, was inspired by the artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser; he originally performed as «Hundert Farben» before settling on his current name. After working odd jobs, he began DJing in Berlin clubs around 2010, and a landmark 2012 set for around 30,000 people at the former Tempelhof Airport marked his breakthrough in Germany.

Signed to Guesstimate/b1 Recordings since 2014, Zimmer built his reputation on tropical- and deep house-inflected electronic pop, blending warm melodic hooks with dance-floor production. His work bridges club culture and mainstream pop radio, and tracks such as «Bad Ideas», «Fading» and «She Moves (Far Away)» showcase his approach of pairing emotive vocal features with polished electronic arrangements.

Alle Farben has remained a steady presence on the German and wider European dance-pop scene, regularly touring clubs and festivals across the continent, with additional shows in cities like Tel Aviv. His catalogue spans collaborations with vocalists across pop and electronic music, cementing his role as one of Germany's more recognizable dance-pop export acts of the 2010s and 2020s.
