Alison Wonderland

Alison Wonderland is the stage name of Alexandra Sholler, an Australian electronic music producer, DJ and singer from Sydney. Emerging from the Australian dance scene in the early 2010s, she built a reputation as a genre-blurring artist whose sets and productions move fluidly between bass music, trap, house and pop songwriting, often with her own vocals layered over heavy, emotionally charged production. Her stage name is a playful spin on «Alice in Wonderland».

Her debut album, Run (2015), established her as a distinctive voice in electronic music, blending confessional lyrics with dense, club-ready beats. She followed it with Awake (2018), which topped the US Dance chart and produced singles including «Church», «U Don't Know» and «I Want U», cementing her crossover appeal between underground dance audiences and mainstream pop and rap listeners. She has also produced under the alias Whyte Fang. Alison Wonderland has become known for high-energy festival performances, including a milestone set as one of the highest-billed female DJs in Coachella's history.

Beyond her music, she has been notably candid about her mental health struggles, including experiences with bullying and a suicide attempt, using her platform and songwriting to address these themes openly. This openness, combined with her genre-crossing production style, has made her a distinctive figure in contemporary electronic and pop music, bridging dance-floor energy with deeply personal songwriting.
