Alex C.

Alex C. is a stage name of Alex Christensen, a German dance music composer, producer and DJ. He first came to prominence as one of the founding members of the electronic act U96, known for blending techno with pop hooks in the early 1990s, and later built a solo career as a producer and remixer across the German and European dance scene, also recording under the alias Jasper Forks.

As Alex C., he became particularly known for club and pop-dance productions frequently featuring vocalist Yasmin K. (Y-ass), with whom he has collaborated since 2002 on tracks blending catchy pop melodies with electronic dance production. His output spans playful, radio-friendly dance-pop as well as club remixes and reworkings of well-known tracks, keeping him active across multiple corners of German and European electronic music.

Over a career spanning decades, Christensen has remained a consistent presence in the German dance-pop and Eurodance scenes, valued both for his production work behind other acts and for his own recordings as Alex C.
