Alex Aiono is an American singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer born in 1996 in Phoenix, Arizona. He built his early following on YouTube, where his cover mashups combining hit songs from different genres attracted millions of subscribers and hundreds of millions of views by the mid-2010s. That platform became his launchpad into a professional recording career.

His original material blends pop, R&B, and rap influences, often layered over smooth vocal harmonies and contemporary production. He released independent singles such as «Doesn't Get Better» and «Young & Foolish» before signing with Interscope Records, through which he issued «Work the Middle» as his first official label single, followed by «Question».
