About the artist
Alesso, born Alessandro Lindblad on 7 July 1991, is a Swedish DJ and record producer who emerged as one of the leading figures of the progressive house scene in the early 2010s. Coming up alongside fellow Swedish producers Avicii and Steve Angello, he built his reputation through big-room, melodic electronic tracks designed for main-stage festival sets, quickly becoming a fixture on the international dance music circuit.
His breakthrough singles, including «Heroes (we could be)» with Tove Lo and collaborations with artists like Calvin Harris, showcased his knack for pairing euphoric, anthemic drops with pop-friendly vocal hooks. Alesso has continued to evolve his sound over the years, incorporating elements of pop and mainstream dance production while working with a wide range of vocalists on tracks such as «Falling» and «I Wanna Know».
