Alessandra Mele is a pop singer born on September 5, 2002, in Pietra Ligure, Italy, to an Italian father and a Norwegian mother. She grew up in Cisano sul Neva and began singing as a child, winning a local talent contest at age twelve. After finishing high school, she relocated to Norway to study music production, eventually settling in Lillehammer.

Mele first gained wider attention as a contestant on the Norwegian edition of The Voice in 2022. The following year she entered Melodi Grand Prix, Norway's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, and won with her song «Queen of Kings». The track became a viral hit, propelling her to represent Norway at Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool, where she finished among the top results of the contest.

Her music blends contemporary pop with electronic production, marked by soaring choruses and a dramatic, theatrical vocal delivery. Following her Eurovision breakthrough, she released additional singles such as «Pretty Devil», «Not That Deep», «Non Stop» and «Toscana», continuing to build a career as one of the most recognizable new voices to emerge from the Norwegian pop scene in recent years.
