Ajay-Atul

Ajay–Atul is an Indian composing duo made up of brothers Ajay Gogavale and Atul Gogavale, best known for their prolific work scoring Marathi and Hindi (Bollywood) films. Hailing from Maharashtra, they built their reputation first within the Marathi film industry before becoming one of the most sought-after composing teams in mainstream Hindi cinema.

Their music is characterised by grand, orchestral arrangements combined with folk and devotional influences drawn from Maharashtrian tradition, often blended with contemporary pop and dance sensibilities. Tracks such as «Zingaat», «Deva Shree Ganesha» and «Sapna Jahan» showcase their range, from high-energy festival anthems to soaring devotional pieces and romantic ballads.

Ajay–Atul have collaborated with major Bollywood directors and playback singers, and their compositions frequently accompany large-scale dance sequences and emotionally driven film moments. Their ability to merge regional Marathi musical identity with pan-Indian commercial appeal has made them one of the defining composer duos of contemporary Indian cinema.
