AFROJACK

Afrojack, born Nick van de Wall in the Netherlands, is a Dutch DJ and producer who rose from the electro house and «dirty Dutch» scene to become one of the most prominent mainstream dance-pop producers of the 2010s. He first broke through with «Take Over Control» alongside Eva Simons, and has remained a fixture near the top of DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list since 2010.

His production work spans collaborations with major pop and hip-hop artists, including «Wake Up Call» and «Turn Up the Speakers» in his early electro period, through to global hits like «Give Me Everything» with Pitbull, «Take Over Control»-era Dutch house, and later pop crossovers such as «Hey Mama» with David Guetta, Nicki Minaj and Bebe Rexha, and «Ten Feet Tall». His 2014 debut album «Forget the World» showcased his range, pairing festival-oriented anthems with more melodic, downtempo material.

Beyond his mainstream pop work, Afrojack has maintained ties to his electro house roots, releasing music under the alias NLW and collaborating with fellow producers like Hardwell, Martin Garrix and DubVision. He founded the label Wall Recordings as part of Spinnin' Records before the labels split in 2016, reflecting his dual identity as both a chart-topping pop hitmaker and a dance-scene veteran.
