Aero Chord

Aero Chord, the alias of Alex Vlastaras, is an EDM producer from Athens, Greece, who emerged as part of the mid-2010s wave of hard trap and future bass producers gaining traction on YouTube-driven electronic music channels. Inspired by his older brother, also an EDM producer, he began releasing music around 2011 through outlets like NoCopyrightSounds before joining the Monstercat label in 2013.

His breakthrough came with «Surface», released on Monstercat in 2014, which became one of the label's biggest debut tracks at the time and helped define the aggressive, bass-driven hard trap sound he was known for in that period. Tracks such as «Shootin Stars» and «Break Them» further established his reputation within the trap and bass music scene.

Over time, Aero Chord's sound shifted away from hard trap toward more melodic and dancehall-influenced electronic production, a change reflected in later releases like «Shadows» featuring Nevve. He has moved between labels including Monstercat and NoCopyrightSounds across his career, continuing to evolve his sound while remaining a recognizable name in bass-oriented electronic music.
