Adventure Time

Adventure Time, created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network, is an American animated series that follows Finn, a human boy, and his best friend Jake, a dog with magical shape-shifting powers, as they wander the surreal, post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo. Premiering in 2010 and running through 2018, the show became known for blending absurdist, Dungeons & Dragons-inflected fantasy adventure with surprisingly deep emotional storytelling about loss, identity, and growing up.
