Adhitia Sofyan

Adhitia Sofyan is a singer-songwriter from Jakarta, Indonesia, who began writing acoustic songs in late 2007. His breakthrough came when he submitted his music to an independent radio chart, where two of his songs, «Adelaide Sky» and «Memilihmu», reached number one, launching his career as a performer.

His sound is rooted in intimate, acoustic-driven pop, often built around gentle guitar work and reflective lyrics, as heard in songs such as «Sesuatu Di Jogja», «8 Tahun», «Forget Jakarta», «Blue Sky Collapse», «Pesan di Balik Awan», «Gaze» and «After The Rain». This understated, singer-songwriter approach set him apart within Indonesia's pop scene, favoring warmth and simplicity over big production.

Adhitia has earned recognition for his work, including two ICEMA (Indonesian Cutting Edge Music Awards) wins as Favorite Solo Artist and Favorite Singer-Songwriter in 2010. «Adelaide Sky» was chosen as the soundtrack for the film Kambing Jantan, directed by Rudi Sudjarwo, and later featured on a Mercedes-Benz Mixed Tape compilation. He has performed at notable events including Harmoni SCTV with music director Andi Rianto, twice in Singapore including the Mosaic Music Festival at Esplanade, and on a ten-day tour in Japan in 2011.
