Adam Pascal

Adam Pascal is an American actor and singer born on October 25, 1970, who rose to fame originating the role of Roger Davis in Jonathan Larson’s rock musical «Rent» on Broadway. His raspy, rock-inflected tenor voice was well suited to Larson’s guitar-driven score, and his performance, including the signature ballad «One Song Glory», helped define how a new generation heard Broadway singing — closer to arena rock than traditional musical theatre.

Pascal went on to originate leading roles in other high-profile musicals, including Radames in Elton John and Tim Rice’s «Aida», where he performed alongside songs like «Written in the Stars».
