About the artist
Adam Levine, born in Los Angeles in 1979, is best known as the lead singer and frontman of the pop-rock band Maroon 5, which he co-founded in high school under the name Kara's Flowers before the group reinvented itself in the early 2000s. A multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, bass, drums and piano, Levine holds a writing or co-writing credit on nearly every Maroon 5 song, blending funk-influenced grooves with radio-friendly pop hooks and his distinctive high falsetto.
