Aco Pejović

Aco Pejović is a Serbian pop-folk singer born on April 18, 1972. He began his career in the early 1990s as a member of the band Trag, first appearing publicly in Prijepolje, Serbia in 1993, before launching a solo career in 2000 with his debut album. Since then he has released a series of solo albums that place him among the established names of Serbian and regional pop-folk (narodnjaci) music.

His style follows the conventions of Balkan pop-folk: emotionally direct lyrics about love, betrayal and everyday hardship, set to arrangements that blend traditional folk instrumentation with modern pop production. Songs such as «Da si tu», «Ne pitaj», «Baraba» and «Neverna» became well known across the former Yugoslav region, helping build his reputation as a reliable hitmaker within the genre over more than two decades.

Pejović has remained active as a performer and recording artist across the Balkans, maintaining a steady release schedule and a loyal fanbase built on the strength of his live shows and radio-friendly ballads and up-tempo numbers alike.
