告五人 (Accusefive)

Accusefive (告五人) is a Taiwanese indie rock trio from Yilan County, formed in 2017 by vocalist-guitarist Pan Yun-an, vocalist Tsai Hsin-lun, and drummer Richard Lin. The band blends indie rock, folk rock, and alternative pop with mainstream Mandopop sensibilities, building songs around warm acoustic textures, layered guitar work, and the interplay between its two lead vocalists. Their curious name comes from each member randomly pointing at characters on a bulletin board, and has nothing to do with the group actually having five members.

After debuting with the EP Son of Mist in 2017 and winning Best New Artist at the Golden Indie Music Awards, the trio broke into the mainstream with the albums Somewhere in Time, I Love You (2019) and Easy Come, Easy Go (2020), both earning nominations at Taiwan's Golden Melody Awards. Songs like «愛人錯過 (Somewhere in Time)» and «唯一 (The One And Only)» showcase the band's signature mix of tender, melancholic songwriting and driving indie-rock instrumentation.

Accusefive has become one of the most recognizable names in contemporary Mandarin-language indie music, admired for balancing emotional, narrative-driven lyrics with radio-friendly hooks. Tracks such as «披星戴月的想你» and «與海無關 (Beyond The Sea)» further cemented their reputation as one of Taiwan's leading bands of their generation, bridging the gap between the indie scene and mainstream Mandopop audiences.
