AB6IX (에이비식스)

AB6IX is a South Korean boy band formed under Brand New Music that debuted in May 2019. The group's original members had significant public profiles before forming: several had competed on the reality competition show Produce 101 Season 2, with some having previously been part of the temporary project group Wanna One, giving AB6IX an unusually visible starting point compared to typical rookie acts.

Musically, the group spans a range from polished K-pop pop and R&B to harder rock and rap-inflected material, reflecting an attempt to build a versatile discography rather than sticking to a single dominant sound. Songs such as «BREATHE» and «SAVIOR» show this stylistic range, moving between emotionally driven pop ballectronics and more aggressive, guitar- or rap-driven tracks.

The group experienced a lineup change when one of its original members departed in 2020, with the remaining members continuing under the same name and label.
