Aaron Keyes

Aaron Keyes is an American singer-songwriter and worship leader from Snellville, Georgia, whose work sits at the heart of the contemporary Christian and modern hymns movement. Over a career spanning independent and studio releases, he has become known for songs such as «Sovereign Over Us», «Psalm 62», and «Trust You», which are widely sung in churches and appear on worship compilations alongside material from artists like Sovereign Grace Music and The Porter's Gate.

Musically, Keyes blends folk-rock instrumentation with the congregational, singable melodies typical of the modern hymn revival, often reworking scriptural texts — such as the Song of Moses or the Psalms — into contemporary arrangements. His songwriting has been shaped by collaborations with figures such as Keith and Kristyn Getty, Stuart Townend, and Pat Barrett, situating him within a network of writers who prioritize theological depth alongside musical accessibility.
